Community

Hope works alongside the Interfaith Food Shuttle with the Backpack Buddies program to provide food to our students in need over the weekends, this is free of cost for our families. To inquire about this initiative, please email Lakesha Alexander our Leadership and Community Involvement Coach at lalexander@hopecharterschool.org.

Volunteers from Christ Church come in once a week to mentor one-to-one with our kindergarten and first grade classes. These mentors value education and donate their time to work with our students on phonics and reading concepts for 30 minutes on their mentoring days.

During our lunch blocks, we have community partners who come in to mentor some of our students. They have lunch with selected students bi-weekly and work on character building, self-motivation, and building ambition.

We are excited to share that we are now partnered with the North Carolina Coastal Pines Girl Scouts! More information coming on how to register for Troop Leadership whose site will be at our own school!

We have partnered with Own Your Dream to provide our families with an affordable and enriching option for Track-Out Camp this year. Students can register for a week of STEAM track out camp for only $50 a week! *Families will need to provide their child with their own lunch.
